 A reflection of Cassandra’s art, these eye-catching fun ceramics are hand painted in Tuscany in a small local workshop. The bold lemons, pomegranates, grapes, and flowers float on a cream background and are highlighted with 20 carat gold leaf. The use of gold leaf echoes Cassandra’s paintings and requires a third firing of the ceramic pieces in order to achieve the desired effect. The ceramic shapes are substantial and possess a sculptural quality that adds to the drama of the design. All of the pieces are food safe and dishwasher safe.

 Lemons have always been favored by Italian ceramicists - the bright yellow lemons and green foliage floating on a blue background seem to perfectly evoke the feeling of sunny Italy. This beautiful Limoni pattern is hand-painted by 2 talented artisans in a small town in central Tuscany. In their design, Monica and Cinzia draw upon the traditional lemon motif to create a lovely pattern with their own unique twist, injecting a touch of art deco into the design. Available in a wide range of shapes and sizes, including their signature star bowl, all of the pieces in this design are food safe and dishwasher safe.

 Created in a small studio in the area of Montelupo Fiorentino in Tuscany, this beautiful ceramic pattern is truly unique. Because this small family of artisans does not depend upon the use of patterns, each piece is an individual creation… they never produce the exact same piece twice. The intricacies of the painting as well as the “secret” technique developed by the master artisan transform the ceramic forms into small canvases with a watercolor like finish. All the pieces in Bella Frutta are food safe.
