Home and Garden Decor

Our traditional decorative majolica ceramics are based on the technique originally developed in Italy during the Renaissance. The technique of covering earthenware bisque with a tin-based white glaze has been modified in today’s marketplace, but the beautiful result remains the same. The white glaze is applied to the ceramic piece first and is then fired. The resulting brilliant white provides the perfect background for the painting, which can range from beautiful decorative patterns to grand one-of-a-kind specialty scenes. These exquisite pieces are not recommended for use with food.
